If you are someone who follows Auto closely, then the news about new Mahindra EVs should be familiar. For others, however, I have to introduce the cars BE 6e and XEV 9e, which will remind you of cars seen only in sci-fi movies (such as Tron: Legacy). 1. MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Assistant)
At the launch event, Mahindra unveiled its AI called MAIA, calling it Software On Wheels (SOW). Claiming to be “the most powerful minds in the world of Cars“, Mahindra’s AI-powered virtual assistant offers a completely different experience in the way you drive. It can be activated using voice controls and works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, which is known as the fastest chipset in cars.
2. Camera Sleep Detection
The BE 6e and XEV 9e include advanced sleep detection camera systems, prioritizing driver safety. This feature continuously monitors the driver’s face and eye movements, alerting them if it detects sleep or fatigue. By tackling the potential problems of driver fatigue, Mahindra is demonstrating its commitment to road safety and passenger comfort.
3. Sentry Mode
Based on Tesla’s advanced security knowledge, the BE 6e and XEV 9e come equipped with Sentry Mode. This type of security technology uses the car’s cameras and sensors to monitor what is happening while it is parked. When a threat is detected, Sentry Mode turns on visual and audio alarms, such as warning lights and alarms, and records the event for later review. This gives the owner peace of mind, knowing that their car is protected even when they are away.
4. VisionX Heads-Up Display
The Vision X Heads-Up Display (HUD) in the BE 6e and XEV 9e represents a huge leap in automotive technology.
