Imagine this: you’re on your way to your college, and amidst the chaos, you see a futuristic-looking robot walking by. If you look closely, you’ll notice that it’s one of our Starship robots busy on a mission. Our bots are not only changing the way students eat on campus – they are also winning hearts and becoming popular in schools.
Let’s start with Henry Banning from Oregon State University, a student who took his love for Starship Robots to the next level. He transformed his car into a wonderful tribute to our project, which is called “Starship Mobile.” Featuring iconic Starship graphics, his car turns heads and smiles wherever it goes. As Henry said, “I kept seeing them at school and I thought, ‘Sure, we can do that, that would be great!'”
Believe it or not, Henry’s dedication caught the attention of Chief Commercial Officer, Ryan Tuohy, who said, “We’ve seen our robots get admired since we started at GMU, but this new Starship vehicle is so much higher. , we love it. It’s always great to see students with passion.” and our robots!” It’s an understatement to say that Henry’s Starship Mobile has become a symbol of the unique bond between students and our robots.
But the love of Starship Robots continues at Oregon State University. Meet Eric Aaberg, University of Texas Dallas graduate, and UTD Spirit cheer captain. Eric shared a cute photo of himself and Temoc, UT Dallas’ beloved mascot, celebrating our graduation with our robots. In his heartfelt speech, Eric expressed his deep admiration for the Starship bots, saying, “Thank you for being such a beautiful part of campus culture 💕.”
It’s not that simple – Starship robots have become indispensable friends for students like Taylor Kitchen from Bowling Green State University. Throughout his difficult college years, these robots have been there to deliver where he was most needed. As Taylor gratefully says, “Thank you to Starship for helping me get through college with all the last minute and most important offers!” They are like reliable friends, making sure that no student is hungry or misses their taste.
And when the COVID-19 pandemic confined students to their dormitories and study spaces, our robots were there to bring comfort and connection.
Mercy Trahan, who graduated from Ole Miss, reflects on her accomplishments, saying, “Playing the stars was a blessing during COVID when I couldn’t leave the dorms and when I couldn’t leave my study area! I’m thankful for these beautiful robots that live on campus!
Knowing that our robots hold a special place in students’ hearts gives us joy and pride. The unwavering support and appreciation from students is a constant reminder of the positive results and lasting legacy that our delivery robots have created in just a few years.
We believe that in the future robots will make life easier and more convenient for people all over the world. These students are the real proof of this vision, giving a glimpse of how our technology will change the world. We feel privileged to have such an impact on millions of people around the world, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to bringing not only smiles and happiness but also a bright and happy future.
