It’s wedding season in the Akkineni household! Amidst preparations for Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding in December, his brother Akhil Akkineni got engaged to Zainab Ravdjee. Superstar Nagarjuna announced his little one’s engagement on social media with a romantic picture of the couple.

He wrote: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, @AkhilAkkine8, to our daughter-in-law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Zainab into our family. I wish them a life filled with love, happiness, and countless blessings.



The ceremony was held at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Akhil, too, posted a few pictures with Zainab and wrote, “I got my Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”

Zainab, who is not very active on social media, says she comes from a well-known business family. She is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Zainab, 27, is an artist and has visited several places such as London and Dubai for her art.

His artwork was also featured in the Reflections exhibition. Not only this, she also has a blog on perfumes and made her debut with MF Hussain’s Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities.

Meanwhile, Akhil Akkineni is the younger brother of Naga Chaitanya. He is the son of superstar Nagarjuna and his wife Amala Akkineni. He appeared as a child artist in his father Sisindri’s production. He made his debut with a lead role in the film Akhil. His latest movie was Agent which released in 2023. Akhil currently has Hastaara Vedavidhyam in his debut.
