Mohammed Rafi’s son, Shahid Rafi, has reportedly revealed that a biopic on his father, the legendary singer, is in the works. An official announcement is yet to be made.
On Tuesday, the Goa International Film Festival pays tribute to Mohammed Rafi. At the event, late singer Shahid Rafi’s son shared that a biopic on his father is in the works.
He also revealed that the director of OMG – Oh My God! and 102 Not Out, Umesh Shukla is being roped in to direct the biopic. However, this change has not been confirmed.
Shahid shared, “The announcement will be made in December. I am making a biopic on Rafi sahab. We are planning it. It will be a biography of Rafi sahab. Music will also be a part of the biopic. We have tied up with Umesh Shukla, director of OMG – Oh My God! and 102 Don’t Get Out. It will be a famous movie.”
