Salman Khan On The Re-release Of Biwi No.1

Bollywood fans of the 90s are in for a treat as the Biwi No.1 comedy hit the theaters for a much-anticipated re-release. The film stars Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Anil Kapoor, and Tabu in lead roles. Ahead of the film’s comeback on the big screen, Salman Khan took to his social media to treat the audience with the trailer of Biwi No.1, raising the expectations of the audience. Additionally, he also gave a shout out to the cast of the film.

Talking about the film’s re-release, Salman Khan said, “Biwi No 1 has a very special place in my heart. It is a film that connected with people in the 90s and still brings smiles to many faces. Working with David is a time his fun and Vashu ji’s vision made this film what it is.”

As soon as Khan shared the trailer, several fans of the actor flooded his comments section with excitement and enthusiasm for the film’s re-release. Biwi No.1, which was originally released in 1999, opened to positive reviews from audiences and critics for its comedy, storytelling, acting, and music, and emerged as the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year. Directed by filmmaker David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, Biwi No.1 received several nominations and won many awards at the awards ceremony.

Biwi No.1, produced by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, revolves around the life of Prem (Salman Khan), a successful businessman who is married to Pooja (Karisma Kapoor). Prem’s life changes dramatically when he starts dating Rupali (Sushmita Sen). Earlier, Vashu Bhagnani excited people with the news of the film’s re-release, saying that Biwi No.1 will hit the theaters on November 29, 2024.
