AIRTH – Cleaning on a Budget
The basic air purifier on Amazon or Flipkart is above 4K, and, that too, does not have a medical grade HEPA filter. We need to check the official website before buying filters. Inexpensive ones have standard filters or HEPA filters. These filters are not enough to absorb all the harmful substances in the air.

How to install AIRTH
The USP of AIRTH is the ability to convert a regular AC into an AC air purifier. This sits on top of your AC mesh filter. The air intake comes from the top, and then the filtered air is released from the AC outlet. Follow the steps for smooth installation
1. First, remove and clean the AC mesh filter.
2. Next, remove the air cleaner unit and remove the paper cover from the magnetic tape.
3. Assemble the air purifier by keeping the main HEPA filter in the middle and the remaining two filters on each side.

I have a Xiaomi 4 air purifier with a CADR of 400CMH and a PM level of 2.5. It has HEPA and active carbon filter and is priced at Rs. 14,999. My experience with Xiaomi is good because this one runs very quietly and can reduce AQIs very quickly. We will be using it as a Benchmark for the AIRTH air purifier.
AIRTH also has a HEPA filter and a PM 2.5 filter. In addition, it can handle the AQI level above 300 easily. In my own use, I found this to have good ventilation and a great length, which resulted in the AQI of 510 being only 40 within an hour. This is commendable, considering that it is available even smaller than the filters used in the Xiaomi 4.
You might think that if I use this with my AC, then the electric bill will be off the charts. You can be quiet because most ACs have fans. AIRTH can work in fan mode, and you can adjust the temperature accordingly; provided only the fan is running, the electricity bill will be below the limit. For me AIRTH is a smart tool that provides a practical solution to one of the biggest issues right now. This works well for those who are not staying at home, they can just buy this and install it on their AC. I would rate this a solid 8 out of 10.
